How is big rig windshield care different from regular care?
- Semi truck drivers are taught to avoid following other big rigs that often kick up pebbles on low-quality highways and roadways.
- Prevention is important and truck drivers recognize that. Therefore, they normally park in protected areas.
- Truck drivers are specialists. The moment they do get a chip or crack in their windshields, they get it fixed immediately.
One key contrast, however, is commercial vehicle insurance. To adhere to higher insurance criteria, truck drivers must get their glass fixed when they experience an issue. Click for Windshield Replacement information.
Big rig windshields are constructed to last. However, if you drive a commercial truck or van, you recognize that the risk you will face of damage as you log a lot of highway miles is a bit more than the risk a driver of an economy car will face.

How Often Should I Change My Windshield Wipers On My Car? How Much Do They Cost?
How Can I Do This Myself?
I usually change my wiper blades near the start of winter and begining of spring. Wipers go through a lot in summer constantly exposed to heat and so on and are prone to cracking and wear. The same goes for winter, constantly exposed to the harsh elements.
Streaking, smearing or the blade no longer maintaining adequate pressure or contact with the windshield are all surefire signs that wiper blade replacement is due.
Many windshield wiper kits sold today come with adapters to fit most domestic and import vehicles and instructions for installation are either printed on the packaging or on a leaflet inside. Installation is relatively simple usually taking no longer than fifteen minutes. A small bladed screwdriver may be required for some models, most just snap into place.
Not all wiper blades are created equal, some wiper blades, particularly on the drivers side are longer in length to that of the passenger side. For example the drivers side may be 22" long while the passenger side may only be 19". Most parts stores can assist you in finding the correct size for your vehicle.
How much do you want to pay? You can pay up to $50 CDN for a set of premium blades, or a little less $15 to $25 for a set of budget blades. If my old wiper blades are in fair condition, I hang onto them until spring, in the event I need one in a pinch. Nows the time to stock up on winter windshield washer fluid as well!

But On Some It Doesn'T Say That And It Talks About Who It'S From, And Like 100% Trusted Or Like 79% Trusted, Then It Shows The Price And Of You Click On It You Can Buy It. So What Does The Whole #% Trusted Mean? I Am Do Confused On This. This May Seem Like A Stupid Question, But Please Can Someone Give Me A Well Detailed Answer On Amazon? I Need It Dumbed Down. they ship the item direct from amazon. ups usually sometimes usps
free super saver shipping items ship out with in 1-5 business days usually.
items from 3'rd party sellers ship out same day or a week later depending on the seller
also on items amazon will post and tell you a estimate delivery window meaning your item should ship in that window time
if amazon ships the item they give you a exact delivery date in most cases :)
