The Warranty Covered The Brake Pad And Caliper But Not The Rotor Even Though It Was Ruined As A Result Of The Brake Caliper Failing. The Total Cost Of Repairs And Rotor Was $335.12. Upon Inspecting The Truck We Were Told That The Rear Brakes Were Worn And In Need Of Replacement, Another $253. We Were Given A Verbal Estimate That The Total Repairs Were Going To Be $585.45, But When We Picked Up The Truck It Was $617.74. It Has Roughly About 100,000 Miles On It But Diesels Last Forever Apparently. The Truck Is In Fantastic Shape. I Have Not Checked Out The Engine Or Trans Yet, But Cosmetically, It Is Mint. Not One Patch Of Rust Anywhere On The Truck. The Interior Is Great As Well. So Much As Even The Dashboard Isnt Cracked And The Seat Isnt Ripped. Window Motors Still Work And The Truck Has Never Been Taken Apart And Messed With. The Truck Is Showroom Quality. It Is A Diesel. I Do Work Two Jobs, The One Who Owns The Truck(Im His Groundskeeper) And Im Also A Part Time Roofer With My Neighbor. I Really Want This Truck. Ive Been Told To Buy It( My Dads 3Rd Cousin Says His '86 Chevy Gets 19 Miles To The Gallon ) And Been Told Not To Get It( My Roofing Boss Said Chevy Made Like The Worst Diesel Engines. And He Drives An Old 80S Diesel Chevy. ) So Im Wondering, Should I Get It?
