You need a cordless drill or at least a decent chisel to remove rivets.

The car already has power door locks and you're not gonna replace those so, you gotta find a way to make that modification. You'll also need the old door panel and crank off of the old salvaged car.
And good luck finding a Crown Vic/Marquis with crank windows. They did make them that way but buyers still wanted the power windows instead.

I Have An 04 Nissan Xterra. I Had Noticed An Antifreeze Smell After It Ran, About A Foot Away From The Grill At The Front Of The Car.
Took It To A Reputable Garage. They Smelled It Too, And Did The Following:
Replaced Intake Plenum Gaskets Upper And Lower
Replaced Lower Radiator Hose, Lower Radiator Hose, And Bypass Hose
Flushed Coolant System
Replaced Coolant Temp. System
A Few Days After This Repair, I Called Them. The Car Still Smelled Like Antifreeze After You Drove It (Note: This Smell Is Noticed Outside Of The Car, Not Inside...By The Front Of The Car. Also, After Being Driven Awhile, You Can Smell It Almost Under The Car As You Drive It If The Windows Are Open. It Does Not Overheat.
They Told Me It Was Probably Just Burning Off From Coolant That Was Spilled During Flushing Of Coolant System.
Weeks Passed, The Same Problem Remained. I Took It Back To Them. They Did A Pressure Check, And Said No Leaks Were Found. They Washed Off The Coolant That Had Spilled, And Said No More Smell Remained. I Drove It Home. No More Smell.
Well, Guess What? A Day Or So Later, Same Problem. In Fact, I Have Since Put 600 Miles On The Car - And It Reeks Of Antifreeze When You Get Out Of The Car And Go Towards The Grill.
I Am Getting Frustrated. I Paid 1100.00 For That Repair. At This Point, I Want To Take It Back And Tell Them To Fix It, Don'T Charge Me A Dime, And Don'T Give It Back Til It'S Fixed Correctly. Still Smells Only Outside, When You Put The Window Down...And Is Not Overheating. No Mess Or Wetness On Inside Of Car Near Floormats.

Unfortunately, auto shops have this ridiculous policy that they use a standard time frame for everything. In other words, if it had taken them 4 hours to do your repairs and the book said an hour and a half, and they didn't do anything other than that repair, you'd only pay for an hour and a half. I too think it's ridiculous, but most shops do it, and if you'll read their policies before you leave your car, you'll see that by allowing them to work on your car you accept those terms. As far as the window part, I can see it costing that much. It sucks, but you're at the mercy of their markup. If you had bought the part yourself, you probably would only have paid $100 or so, but they won't put in parts you carry in. It's a racket, and it's legal. Good Luck.

The Driver Side Power Window Oy 1996 Saturn Sc2 Is Off It's Track And Won't Roll Up Correctly.....And Now Won't Roll Up At All.

Wow, do you have a mess on your hands. Your Saturn is the only car in the world that accesses the window by removing the OUTSIDE skin of the door. You will find, along the edge of the inside of the door, a bunch of torx (star shaped) screws. You need to remove all of these. Once they are removed, gently wiggle the edge and pry it from the door edge and remove the outside skin of the door. This will expose the inner workings of your door rail, track, motor and tape mechanism. The number of reasons the window is not rolling up or down are numerous. It could be your tape has broken and you will need to replace it. The motor could be bad, the track could be bent or the moulding could be worn out. Removing the skin of the door will expose everything so you can best determine the culprit. Good luck!
